Elevated centerpieces using green hydrangea,
coral charm peony, dendrobian orchids, branch
material, snapdragons, gerbera and hanging
amaranths. Love the green and coral/pink
color combination. Very dramatic pieces with
the hanging votive candles.

The cake at one of today's wedding was done by Gerardo's.
Gorgeous. I added white phaelanopsis orchids, white
dendrobian orchids and some white petals around the base.

Practicing my photography skills on a bucket of huge coral
color peony. These were beautiful and made for some wonderful
wedding flowers.

Rehearsal dinner flowers. Soft pink hydrangea, pale yellow
alstroemeria, pink roses and a deep purple dahlias and hosta
in cubes!

Whispering Pines Conference Center @ University of Rhode Island

To tie in the natural surroundings I used a chocolate
brown cube container banded with birch bark.
Flowers used are ambiance roses, hypericum berry,
gerbera, lime green roses and white stock. Foliage
is dogwood.

The deck off the back of the lodge over looking the pond.
What a great setting!

For the place cards I used fresh floral wheat grass, enclosed
with birch and a few green cymbidium orchids.

Pink anthurium, pink gerbera daisy, hypericum berry,
pale peach roses and bright pink peony, a great combination.

Colorful barn wedding

This brides bouquet was for a bride who wanted color-
no white. Dendrobian orchids, pink sweet pea, blue
hydrangea, thistle, ambiance roses and blue hyacinth!

I am thrilled with the different venues I am getting to
work at this year. A couple of weeks ago we were
at the Bay Path Barn in Boylston, the property
of the grooms family.

Unique glass container

I had been saving this container for a special occasion -which came
at Mothers day. When designing for clients, who order often,
I am always on the look out for a different or unique containers
so I don't repeat the same arrangement for them. This one
included some beautiful peony, anthuriums, orchids, hyacinth
and calla lilies. It was great and well received.

Back to blog!

This is it! I will post pictures I have taken over the
past month. Pink not being one of my favorite
flower colors, I could not resist these pink anthuriums
mottled with white. They were great and last
quite a long time.
